I feasted on it like a literary glutton who had gone without for too long. I slurped up the prose and let the imagery rattle around in my imagination and spark up images of my history. I wouldn't really call this erotica, maybe erotic horror. I noticed the focus was on the groom getting off, not the bride and it made me wonder if she knew he intended to kill them both or if this was a murder suicide. It has a certain rhythm and tone all of its' own, and the description of the Russian (?) assault above goes some way to reaffirming the urgency of the characters (which <em>is</em> a staple of erotica, so it has that going for it). I'll bow out from providing a more comprehensive detailing of its' merits due to erotica being outside my normal stomping ground, but I genuinely found this intriguing.
